Responsibilities

As a Senior Web Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and leading our digital initiatives. Beyond writing code, you'll be responsible for setting technical direction, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of scalable, high-performance solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the development of robust, maintainable, and high-quality code aligned with modern standards and best practices.
  • Driving collaboration with designers and properties to deliver seamless, visually compelling, and user-friendly web experiences.
  • Architecting and integrating complex systems, APIs, and data flows between front-end and back-end platforms.
  • Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, while advising stakeholders on technical feasibility and best approaches.
  • Providing technical leadership to junior web developers, including code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
  • Ensuring cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive compatibility across all digital solutions.
  • Overseeing website performance, optimization, scalability, and security to support business growth.
  • Staying ahead of emerging technologies and frameworks, and proactively recommending innovative solutions to enhance the company's digital presence.
  • Partnering with design and UX teams to ensure high standards of usability, accessibility, and brand consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree or equivalent experience is an advantage).
  • 5+ years of professional web development experience, with proven success in delivering enterprise-level projects.
  • Expertise in core technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Advanced knowledge of at least one modern front-end framework: React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Strong experience with back-end frameworks: , PHP/ASP.NET, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Deep experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress, WebFlow, or enterprise platforms.
  • Solid experience building and consuming RESTful APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).
  • Proficiency in relational and non-relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), with a strong focus on data integrity and security.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control (Git).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of UI/UX principles, accessibility standards, and responsive design best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
