Key responsibilities

  • Installation and configuration: Set up and configure computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Troubleshooting and repair: Diagnose and fix hardware and software issues, including repairs or replacements.
  • User support: Provide technical assistance to users via phone, email, or in-person, resolving problems with computers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Network management: Set up, maintain, and secure computer networks, which may include performing upgrades to firewalls.
  • System maintenance: Perform regular maintenance, run performance checks, and conduct data backups to ensure system reliability.
  • Documentation and inventory: Maintain technical documentation and keep track of hardware and software assets.
