CNC Programmer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop CNC programs using CAM software based on CAD models, blueprints, or engineering drawings.
• Optimize CNC programs to improve cycle times, reduce tool wear, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Train machinists to set up CNC machines, include select appropriate cutting tools and configuring machine parameters.
• Run simulations of CNC programs to verify tool paths, ensure program accuracy, and troubleshoot potential issues.
• Ensure all parts meet specifications and tolerances through inspection and testing processes, including using calipers, micrometers, and CMM machines.
• Maintain detailed records of CNC programs, setups, tool paths, and process sheets for each part.
• Assist with troubleshooting machine issues, performing minor machine adjustments or recommending solutions for optimal performance.
• Work with engineers, production teams, and quality control personnel to ensure design intent is achieved and manufacturing standards are maintained.

Requirement

• Minimum work experience of 3 years running multi-axis CNC machines.

CNC Machinist (Milling/Autolathe Machine)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CNC milling/autolathe machines according to job orders.
• Set up tools, fixtures, and materials based on job requirements.
• Interpret engineering drawings and machine parts to customer specifications.
• Perform program editing as needed.
• Carry out routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
• Use precision measuring instruments(e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to inspect finished parts.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams when necessary.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirement

• Minimum work experience of 1 year running multi-axis CNC machines.
