Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Coordination

  • Produce and develop 2D & 3D drawings, including conceptual, tender, and construction drawings.
  • Carry out CAD/BIM drafting works and ensure drawings are accurate, well-coordinated, and compliant with project standards.
  • Review architectural, structural, and M&E drawings to identify and resolve design discrepancies.
  • Develop concept sketches into detailed working drawings and presentation materials.
  • Ensure all designs comply with local authority requirements, hospital standards, and company specifications.

Project Management & Site Supervision

  • Coordinate architectural works from design development through to project completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work quality, progress, and adherence to approved drawings.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent and technical requirements are achieved.
  • Supervise and monitor site works, ensuring compliance with safety, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Manage technical clarifications, variation works, and as-built documentation.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, approvals, progress reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Support authority submissions and approval processes.
  • Prepare weekly reports to update management on project progress and issues.

Continuous Improvement & Ad-hoc Duties

  • Proactively identify design or site issues and recommend effective solutions.
  • Ensure workmanship and material standards meet hospital project quality requirements.
  • Perform other project-related tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent qualification.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in architectural design, coordination, or site supervision.
  • Experience in hospital or healthcare facility projects is highly preferred.
  • Fresh graduates (Part I) with strong design and technical knowledge are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, MS Word & Excel.
  • Knowledge of Enscape, BIM, or Revit (3D Modelling) is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of construction detailing, materials, and local building codes.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent, reliable, proactive, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Willing to travel and work overtime when required.
