About the role

As a Logistics Specialist at COSMOS PERSONAL CARE (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.', you will play a crucial role in managing the company's import and export operations and customs procedures. This full-time position is located in Tanjung Langsat Johor and offers the opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading player in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

Key responsibility :

  • Coordinating the import and export of goods, ensuring timely and efficient clearance through customs
  • Preparing and submitting all necessary documentation for import/export activities
  • Liaising with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to optimise supply chain operations
  • Monitoring shipment status and providing updates to stakeholders
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance logistics efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant import/export regulations and company policies
  • Providing support to the wider logistics and operations team as needed

What we're looking for :

  • DIploma or Degree in In Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a logistics or customs-related role
  • Strong understanding of import/export procedures, customs regulations and experience in LMW
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving to identify and resolve issues
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
  • Knowledge of relevant logistics software and systems
  • Enthusiasm for continuous improvement and a proactive approach to your work
  • Fluent in English , Malay and Proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is an advantage.
