About the role

Yukim Malaysia Sdn. Bhd', a leading company in the Human Resources & Recruitment industry, is seeking a talented Local workers Recruitment Coordinator to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor on a full-time basis. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment and onboarding of local workers, playing a vital part in the growth and success of our organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Sourcing, screening and shortlisting qualified local candidates for various positions within the company
  • Conducting interviews and assessments to evaluate candidate suitability
  • Coordinating the onboarding process for new local hires, including orientation, documentation and training
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and requirements
  • Continuously identifying and implementing ways to improve the local recruitment process
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a recruitment or HR coordination role, preferably in the local workers segment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Familiarity with relevant labour laws and regulations pertaining to local workers
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal
  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a customer-centric approach
