1. Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Welding Technician in welding, fabrication, and repair work for residential and industrial projects. This role is also suitable for new graduates with basic welding skills and a willingness to learn on the job.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior welders in carrying out welding and fabrication tasks for residential structures such as gates, grills, railings, frames, and piping systems.
• Perform basic welding (SMAW/MIG/TIG) and metal preparation tasks including cutting, grinding, and surface cleaning.
• Support installation and repair works at residential sites.
• Set up, maintain, and clean welding tools, machinery, and work areas.
• Follow safety guidelines in accordance with DOSH and company standards.
• Conduct simple visual inspections to ensure weld quality.
• Read and interpret basic technical drawings or instructions.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

3. RequirementsEducation & Certification

• Diploma/Certificate in Welding Technology, Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• SKM Level 1–2 (advantage but not mandatory for fresh graduates).
• Valid driving license

Skills & Competencies

• Basic knowledge of welding techniques (SMAW, MIG, TIG).
• Able to use hand tools (grinder, cutter, drill).
• Good understanding of workplace safety and PPE.
• Ability to work under supervision and learn new skills quickly.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

4. Working Conditions

• Work may involve both workshop and on-site residential environments.
• Ability to work in hot outdoor conditions when required.
• Overtime or weekend work may be needed based on project schedule.

5. Salary & Benefits

• Salary Range: RM1,800 – RM2,200 (depending on qualifications and company structure).
• Overtime allowance, EPF, SOCSO, and annual leave benefits.

Pay: RM1, RM2,200.00 per month
