Process Technician

Primary Functions:

  • Support daily die attach equipment setup for production, NPI, R&D and process engineering
  • Assist engineers to run engineering evaluation in die attach process.
  • Assist manufacturing specialist/operator in equipment set up to support daily production output
  • To carry out die attach machine conversion, process recipe troubleshooting and new recipe creation
  • Assist engineers to create new process recipe for die attach process new process set-up for new product.
  • Assist and support equipment engineers for down time monitoring recording and compilation

Duties/Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist production/process to setup machine for production and NPI.
  2. Assist engineers to do various types of process evaluation.
  3. Assist engineers to troubleshoot process and recipe optimization
  4. Assist manufacturing specialist/operator to clear and rectify minor equipment stoppages.
  5. Assist engineer and production for SPC data collection in die attach process
  6. Promote teamwork and cooperation.
  7. Follow and practice equipment safety operation and 5S housekeeping requirements
  8. Carry out any other job responsibilities as assigned by superior
  9. Self-motivated with good communication and interpersonal skills
  10. Good interpersonal skills and teamwork.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical/ Mechatronic engineering or equivalent.
  • Must understand basic machine working principle and operation for ASM896, ASM838 and DATACON EVO die bonder.
  • Experience in FOL equipment machine setup and sustenance will be an added advantage.
  • Preferably with 2-3 years related hands-on experience of process and machine setup and troubleshooting for die attach
