Position

As a Production Operator, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality product output while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. Your responsibilities include equipment operation, material management, and adhering to environmental, health, and safety (EHS) policies. Collaboration with supervisors and engineers is essential to address quality issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Produce products with consistent high quality, meeting production standards.
  • Assembles and/or installs various electrical or electronic components, plastics housings and cables.
  • Soldering surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Operate and maintain production machinery, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major malfunctions to the manufacturing engineering team.
  • Perform in-line inspections to identify and address quality defects during production.
  • Maintain workshop 6S standards and perform equipment maintenance as needed.
  • Accurately document production activities and maintain logs for traceability.
  • Comply with and support the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and initiatives.
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and product quality.

Requirements

  • Accurate and methodical approach to tasks, ensuring precision in the production process.
  • Proficient in soldering techniques and other hands-on manufacturing tools such as tweezers, crimpers, wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.
  • Problem-solving skills to address production and equipment issues.
  • Adaptability to handle varied tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on mentality with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Team-oriented mindset, fostering collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
