About the role

KVA CONSULT (M) SDN BHD' is seeking a highly skilled BIM Modeler to join our dynamic team in Puchong, Selangor. As a BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for creating and managing 3D Building Information Models (BIM) to support the delivery of complex engineering projects. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and develop your expertise in the field of engineering drafting.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for various engineering projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and construction professionals, to ensure the models meet project requirements
  • Perform clash detection and coordinate the resolution of conflicts between different building systems
  • Generate detailed 2D drawings, schedules, and other project deliverables from the BIM models
  • Provide technical support and training to project team members on the use of BIM software and tools
  • Continuously explore and implement new BIM technologies and best practices to enhance project efficiency and quality

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in BIM modelling and coordination
  • Proficient in the use of BIM software, such as Autodesk Revit, and other related CAD tools
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and technical specifications
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends
