We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our Technical & Design Department. This role involves supporting project design work, preparing drawings, coordinating with consultants and site teams, and ensuring strict compliance with quality and technical standards

Job Description, roles and responsibilities:

1) To cary out design on civil and structural works;

2) To prepare and maintain minutes of minutes as per procedures and work instructions;

3) To maintain and design documents and per procedures and work instructions;

4) To implement Project Design Programmes, Authorities Submission Schedule and CF

inspection schedule for each project.

5) To review external consultants design output as per procedures and work instructions.

6) To ensure conformance to the design and development procedures of Dominant Pro Ventures

Sdn.Bhd Techical & Design Department.

7) To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

8) To Support the Project Executive on shop drawings activities.

9) To supervise co-ordination/shop drawings of all projects/miscellaneous works with the relevant

Project Managers and sub-contractors/suppliers.

10) To implement Dominant Pro Ventures Sdn.Bhd standard details in shop drawings.

11) To monitor and guide all draughtsman in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.

12) To implement and ensure compliance in all works relating to technical, quality of the Company.

13) To ensure implementation of Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures in relation to

all works.

14) To check all construction drawings (hardcopy and AutoCad file) for discrepancy.

15) To prepare working drawings (Concrete Building Plan and Brick Wall setting out Plan) by

coordinate architectural drawings and C&S drawings.

16) To issue construction drawings to subcontractors of all trades and ensure latest version used for

construction.

17) To review for specialist subcontractors shop drawings.

18) To ensure all relevant technical knowledge are made available to the site staff.

19) To prepare the various work method of statement, and technical report when required.

20) To liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities for continual good relationship.

21) To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior.

Working Hours
  • Monday – Saturday: 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Saturday (Occasional): As required depending on project needs
