Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all civil and structural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and relevant codes of practice.
  • Apply sound knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems to support and integrate multidisciplinary site activities.
  • Monitor construction progress and quality, promptly identifying and reporting any deviations, issues, or required changes to the project team.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and maintain detailed records of completed works and site progress.
  • Liaise effectively with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to resolve technical or logistical challenges.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the site team to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations across all site operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Clerk of Works or in a similar capacity within civil and structural engineering projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Solid technical expertise in civil and structural engineering principles.
  • Proficient understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems and their integration with civil structures.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
  • Competent in preparing clear, detailed, and professional reports.
  • Proficient in construction management software and digital tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Possess a Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM5, RM5,500.00 per month
