Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (MFRS).
  • Perform financial analysis, reconciliations, and variance reporting to support management decisions.
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and project costing reports.

Accounting Operations

  • Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of transactions in the accounting system.
  • Review and verify supporting documents for financial transactions.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory filings, and company policies.
  • Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
  • Assist in maintaining proper financial records and internal controls.

Treasury & Cash Flow Support

  • Monitor daily cash flow, bank reconciliations, and payments processing.
  • Assist in managing project funding and working capital requirements.

Team & Collaboration

  • Provide guidance to junior finance staff on accounting tasks.
  • Collaborate with project and operations teams on financial matters, particularly construction and property development projects.
  • Report to and support the Assistant Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager in all finance-related tasks.

Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of working experience in accounting/finance, preferably in construction or property development industry.
  • Familiarity with MFRS and ERP/accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (both written and spoken).
  • Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting the team.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of project management tools.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Consistent, Motivated, Professional, Reliable, Action-Oriented and Confident.

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm
