About the role
We are seeking a talented R&D Executive / Assistant to join our dynamic team at NWE BIOTECH SDN BHD in Glenmarie, Selangor. This full-time position is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of innovative food technologies and products. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be involved in various aspects of research, testing, and implementation, playing a vital role in the company's growth and success.
What you'll be doing
- Conducting research and development activities to enhance existing food products or create new ones
- Designing and executing experiments and tests to evaluate the quality, safety, and performance of food products
- Analyzing data and interpreting results to identify areas for improvement or new development opportunities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, marketing, and quality assurance, to ensure the successful implementation of R&D initiatives
- Documenting and presenting research findings, recommendations, and progress reports to management
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in food technology
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting as needed
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar R&D or product development role within the food industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Proficiency in the use of laboratory equipment and analytical tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations
- Detailed-oriented and organized, with a keen eye for quality and attention to safety protocols
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the development of cutting-edge food products
