Job Description

  • Plan, supervise, and monitor site construction activities to ensure timely progress and compliance with approved specifications and drawings.
  • Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and relevant authorities to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth site operations.
  • Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents to ensure accurate and consistent implementation on-site.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship and materials meet required standards.
  • Attend and assist QA/QC in site quality inspections, ensure inspection reports are properly documented, and follow up to ensure all findings are closed according to requirements.
  • Monitor and verify work progress, prepare accurate progress reports, and support updates to the project schedule.
  • Attend to site technical queries (TQ/RFI) and provide timely clarification, feedback, or solutions to issues during construction.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning of building systems, including electrical, HVAC, fire protection, and BMS.
  • Prepare and maintain all necessary site documentation, such as site diaries, RFIs, method statements, risk assessments, and inspection records.
  • Ensure all works are carried out based in established method statements, safety requirements, and quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant site engineering experience in construction projects.
  • Possess a Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and technical coordination.
  • Good knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, quality control, and site management.
  • Able to communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and site personnel.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Familiar with RFI processes, method statements, risk assessments, and site documentation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
