About the role

This full-time Technical Sales Executive role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in Selangor. As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by providing expert technical guidance and support to our diverse client base.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within your designated territory
  2. Deliver high-quality, consultative sales presentations to potential clients
  3. Provide technical expertise and advice to help clients select the most suitable products and solutions
  4. Negotiate contracts and close sales deals to meet or exceed individual and team targets
  5. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and exceptional customer service
  6. Collaborate cross-functionally with the marketing, operations and finance teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity and new product developments

What we're looking for

  1. Demonstrated track record of success in a technical sales or business development role, preferably within the construction industry
  2. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly grasp complex product specifications and applications
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with clients
  4. Proven negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on delivering mutually beneficial outcomes
  5. Degree qualification in business and technical discipline
  6. Non Degree qualification with proven experience in construction industry acceptable
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  8. Willingness to travel within the Klang Valley region to meet with clients
