About the role

ProMinent Fluid Controls (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Sales & Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in Puchong, Selangor. As a Sales & Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our Power & Energy team. With a focus on building strong customer relationships, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, tailored recommendations, and exceptional service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Actively engage with customers to understand their unique requirements and challenges
  2. Provide technical guidance and product expertise to help customers select the most suitable solutions
  3. Prepare and present detailed product proposals and quotations
  4. Negotiate contracts and ensure successful project implementation
  5. Collaborate with the internal team to coordinate order processing, delivery, and after-sales support
  6. Stay up to date with industry trends, product innovations, and competitive offerings
  7. Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our market presence

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical / Chemical Engineering
  2. Minimum 3 years of experience in sales engineering or technical sales role
  3. Sales experience in Oil & Gas, Power & Energy industry is an advantage
  4. Strong technical understanding of mechanical engineering principles, products, and applications
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable with using CRM software
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Willingness to travel within the region to meet with clients
