JOB SUMMARY: The Finance Executive will assist in handling day-to-day financial and accounting functions of the company. This role supports financial reporting, project cost tracking, cash flow monitoring, and compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements. The Finance Executive ensures accuracy in financial records while providing support to project teams and management in a fast-paced construction environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial & Accounting Operations

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ledgers, and reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Process accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and payment transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and project accounts.

Project Cost Support

  • Record and monitor project-related expenses (materials, labour, subcontractors).
  • Assist in updating cost reports and budgets.
  • Assist in ensuring timely and accurate recognition of project revenue and costs.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Assist in monitoring daily cash flow, collections, and disbursements.
  • Support preparation of cash book and also cash flow forecasts.
  • Handle documentation for banking transactions and project accounts.

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks, and suppliers for financial-related matters.
  • Assist in providing timely financial data and support for management decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma and/or Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in accounting/finance.
  • Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems (e.g., IFCA, SAP, Oracle, MYOB, Globe3).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fresh graduates with strong academic results may also be considered.
