The Opportunity

Join Needle to translate strategy into scroll-stopping video content that drives results. We're looking for a
Video Editor
who gets what makes content click. If you live and breathe Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, and can turn raw footage into high-converting video stories - this opportunity is for you.

What You'll Do

You'll be cutting, remixing, crafting, and polishing footage across our portfolio of brands that feels human, thumb-stopping, and on-brand.

  • Edit raw footage into high-converting videos for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Source trends, sounds, and formats to keep our content culturally fluent and platform-native.
  • Own the full edit - from cuts to captions, motion graphics to sound design.
  • Use AI tools to enhance your workflow and outputs (e.g. generate VO with ElevenLabs, use Sora2/Veo3 for footage)
  • Optimize video output for platform success - captions, hooks, thumbnails, hashtags, and more.
  • Monitor video performance and share insights and ideas for improvement.

What You Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience editing short-form social content that converts.
  • You have brand instinct and you understand "vibes", and you know how to translate a brand's vibe and personality into their video content.
  • Strong portfolio of work done for DTC lifestyle brands.
  • Excellent grasp of visual storytelling, pacing, and attention-grabbing structure.
  • Knowledge and exploration of AI tools for video editing or video generation (e.g. Veo3, Runway, etc.)
  • Use tools like Davinci Resolve, CapCut, and Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects.
  • Up-to-date understanding of platform algorithms and trends (TikTok, IG, YT).
