About You

RinggitPlus is looking for someone who lives and breathes short-form video content. You'll be the person who wakes up thinking about what's trending on TikTok, spends your commute watching Reels, and has strong opinions about which AI video tools work.

This role is about creating videos that stop thumbs mid-scroll. You'll use AI tools like Google Veo to generate video content, then edit and stitch everything together into videos that perform. Most importantly, you'll look at the numbers, figure out what worked, and make the next batch even better.

You'll work within the Social Team.

What You'll Actually Do

  • Create videos (this is 80% of your day)
  • Prompt AI video tools (Google Veo, Runway, Pika, whatever works) to generate content
  • Edit and stitch videos together for different social platforms
  • Adapt creative for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, and Facebook
  • Add motion graphics, text overlays, transitions, and sound design
  • Create content in both English and Bahasa Malaysia

  • Turn around multiple versions quickly for testing

  • Think strategically

  • Come up with video concepts that match campaign briefs
  • Understand what performs on each platform and why
  • Keep up with trending formats, sounds, and styles

  • Suggest creative directions based on what's working

  • Measure and improve

  • Track how your videos perform across platforms
  • Report on what's working and what isn't
  • Use performance data to inform your next creative decisions
  • Run A/B tests on different creative approaches

What You Need

  • Experience and skills
  • At least 2 years creating content for marketing or brands
  • Comfortable using AI video generation tools

  • Solid video editing skills in Canva, CapCut. Premiere Pro or Final Cut is better
    • After Effects and Illustrator knowledge is a real advantage
    • Portfolio showing short-form social video work, include your Prompts for AI work

  • Comfortable in video calls and virtual collaboration

What You're Like

You're someone who genuinely enjoys the craft of making short-form video content. You get why some videos explode and others flop. You're not precious about your work, you'd rather make ten videos and see what lands than spend ages perfecting one.

You're also someone who embraces AI as a creative tool, not a replacement for creativity. You understand that prompting, editing, pacing, and storytelling still matter.

Salary
