RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY:

  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by development efficient process workflows with cycle time, material, treatment and harden process define start from RFQ stage.
  • Support the introduction of new products and technologies into the manufacturing environment.
  • Analyze, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure efficient, safe, and cost-effective manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Monitor process parameters and production metrics to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for process deviations and product non-conformities.
  • Design and implement process improvements to reduce waste, cycle time, and costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, 5S).
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Assist in equipment selection, layout planning, and process validation.
  • Train production staff on process changes and improvements.
  • Evaluate and specify tools, machines and material needed for manufacturing.
  • Control and maintain material master list.
  • Control and handle Engineering Change Notice process.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
  • Solid understanding of fabrication processes (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, machining, assembly).
  • Experience with process analysis tools (e.g., FMEA, 5Why, Fishbone Diagram).
  • Proficient in CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 is a plus.

  • STM/STPM (Preferred)

  • CNC Lathe or CNC Milling: 2 years (Preferred)
