Main responsibilities:Perform automation testing activities, such as:Code automated test for Web applicationsCode automated test for APIBuild automated testing frameworkSetup and configure a continuous testing processEnsure the quality of testing for all delivered developments and upgradesLiaise closely with all relevant parties to fully understand the functionality to be testedProvide accurate estimates for all work as requiredProvide sufficient detail to development to facilitate the optimal resolution of bugs and provide any further assistance requiredEffective prioritization and meeting of deadlinesContinuous improvement mindset to drive for more automationExperience & Skills Required:Experienced: 4-6 years of experience working as an automated tester (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are accepted). First understanding of automation is desiredSenior: >6 years of experience working as a QA/automated tester (Methodologies: Waterfall & Agile are accepted).Good understanding of development processes associated with an understanding of automation in testing.Work experience in Finance, banking or insurance industry is preferred.Bachelor's or master degree in information technology and/or other demonstrated learning path (eg. Bootcamp) can be accepted.ITIL Certification is a plusProven experience as a QA Automated Tester or similar role.Knowledge in Gherkin/Cucumber and as well SeleniumProficiency in programming languages such as Java (preferably) or optionally Angular/Cobol.Understanding of automated testing tools and frameworks.Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.Experience with performance and load testing tools.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration toolsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team and to interact with other (developers, business teams)
