Job Description: IT Executive (KL Office)

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Perform Day to Day Helpdesk responsibilities including but not limited to responding IT request, troubleshooting and new joiner on boarding.

  • Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure such as hardware, software and networks.

  • Exposure to IT technical tasks e.g., security administrator, system, and network administrator. Basic network/ server setup and troubleshooting.

  • Support IT project coordination, including system upgrades, installations, and migrations.

  • Monitor network traffic and system health, and escalate issues related to connectivity or performance.

  • Conduct routine maintenance, including firmware updates, patching, and troubleshooting basic hardware or software problems.

  • Ensure proper documentation, file records and updating of data / records of the IT Department.

  • Arrange to mobilize as per ISO procedures.

  • Serve as company liaison/ PIC with third party service providers.

  • Vetting of various test results, deployment, and etc by third party service providers.

  • Any other hoc tasks assigned by the Superior/Head of Department.

  • Familiar with SWIFT structure (is an advantage)

SKILLS:

  • Technology Risk – Assessment, follow-ups, and reporting.

  • Framework, Policy, and Procedure – Development and maintenance of contents, coordination with related parties.

  • IT Awareness for Staffs – Slides preparation, coordination with Academy, Business Units, Corporate Communication etc.

  • Presentation – Present the updates to relevant group/committee.

  • Problem Solving – Analyze an issue related to information security and recommend a solution

  • Technical – Security control e.g., Cloud, Firewall, DLP, SIEM, System and Network Administration.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support, network/system administration, IT security or a related field.

  • Proficient in network administration, firewalls (FortiGate), and endpoint protection (Acronis Cyber Protect).

  • Knowledge in Business System Application, System Architecture & Technical Specifications will be an advantage.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and vendor coordination abilities.

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
