About the role:

SRE Engineering support for Enterprise Data Platform

Must have

• Good at writing and troubleshooting Hadoop Spark and hql code
• Build and automate Batch operational touch points -through python/shell script
• Proficiency in Postgress database queries
• Experience in Batch monitoring and scheduling with tools like ControlM or Airflow
• Incident/Change/Problem Management – ServiceNow/Remedy
• Analytical skills and stakeholder management
• Flexible to work in shifts, attitude and willingness to learn

Nice to have

• Banking Domain Knowledge
• Grafana & Elastic
• Prior Exp in Migration projects ( legacy to new tech stack)

Key Responsibilities

• Provides Batch operation support to newly onboarded app in production
• Proactively troubleshoot the batches issues and bugs in the design and take steps to resolve them
• Implement best practices and automate any manual touch points in prod operation through python scripts
• keep the production system up and running so that SLAs can be met, on both the platform and application levels
• Respond to emergency callout, perform RCA and troubleshooting of problems and escalate as and when necessary
• Build observability dashboard to minimize manual touchpoints in monitoring
• Automate manual tasks
• Accountable and responsible attitude towards work
