  • To set alignment, standards and governance of IT implementations in order to deliver quality IT solutions that bring value to the business.
  • Defined the guardrail and boundary of the architecture standard and ensure implementation feasibility and practicality.
  • To provide answers to issues plaguing IT implementation and resolve contentions between IT solution.
  • Work with implementation teams and vendors to ensure quality technical project delivery and iron technical issues arising.
  • Assists and being hands-on (if need be) in helping delivery/operation team to resolve technical issues pertaining architecture standardization.
  • Work with IT leadership team to develop solution adoption strategies, and ensure solution adequacy, scalability, data consistency, security compliance and performance.
  • Solution Architecting and monitoring to ensure strategic fitment & alignment.
  • Drive solution or product rationalization and apply standardization appropriately to reduce system maintenance cost.
  • Drive introduction of new and emerging financial technology tools and services that would enhance the organization service capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other IT functions to guide realization of the defined architectures and solutions.
  • Establish and maintain the list of technology standards approved by IT leadership team and define and maintain the Target Enterprise Architecture.
  • Continuously monitor and observe the shortfall in current architecture landscape and proactively provide recommendation for improvement.
  • Direct and drive research on potential technology solutions
  • Upkeep with the latest technologies in the industry especially in the area of Digital Innovation, Data Analytic, Microservices, AI/ML.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Minimum 7 years working experience in technology domain, preferably with team lead experience.
  • Experience in IT architecture, system design and analysis, service oriented architectures (SOA) or message orientated middle-ware/web services
  • Experience in solution design and planning.
  • Experience in Application Development.
  • Experience in Project Management.
  • Certified in MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate), MCSE (Microsoft Certified Solutions Experct), Project Management, ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library), Agile and Scrum.
  • Good to have TOGAF or IASA Architect certification
