Grab's Fulfilment Team acts as a horizontal platform tech family with the goal of deepening fulfilment capabilities for all Grab businesses in a platform manner and providing them solutions which help connect our driver partners to Grab customers and create a highly reliable, cost efficient and faster transportation and logistics platform.

Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to empower Grab's operations to scale efficiently and intelligently by designing, building, and owning the full-stack tools that provide critical insights into marketplace health, partner performance, competitive dynamics, and automation diagnostics. You will directly impact the reliability, speed, and data-driven decision-making of thousands of Grab operations users. You will be reporting to Software Engineering Manager, and to be based onsite in our Petaling Jaya office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• You will build scalable solutions by architecting, developing, and deploying robust full-stack applications that address complex operational challenges.
• You will empower operations and analysts by creating intuitive user interfaces that provide easy access to accurate, multi-dimensional data for performance monitoring and issue diagnosis.
• You will drive operational efficiency by automating manual processes and developing self-service capabilities to enhance Grab's scalability.
• You will own and iterate on features/modules from concept through implementation, testing, and deployment, continuously improving based on user feedback and data insights.
• You will mentor and collaborate with junior engineers and cross-functional teams, sharing your expertise to understand challenges and deliver optimal solutions.
• You will ensure high performance and reliability of applications by implementing robust monitoring, alerting, and user-centric design practices.

Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience with full-stack web applications and distributed systems

• Technical Proficiency:

• Frontend: Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, state management, and build tools.

• Backend: Proficiency in one or more server-side languages (Go, , Python) and frameworks (Express, Django, etc.).
• Databases: Experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, DynamoDB).
• APIs: Understanding of RESTful API design;
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK) is advantageous.
• Testing: Proficient in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
