The Supply Planner is responsible for managing the procurement of required SKUs from complex suppliers, including intercompany and third-party, to support AOS health, on-time delivery, and inventory targets. This involves overseeing third-party supplier management, including quarterly lead time assessments, supplier on-time delivery (OTD), and follow-ups on open purchase orders. They also partner with distribution centers to resolve inbound errors, coordinate with logistics to ensure timely product delivery to distribution centers and update standard work procedures.

Supply Planning Team Lead
and is part of the APAC
Supply Planning Team
located in
Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
and will be an on-site role.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

• Manage procurement of required SKUs with suppliers (intercompany and 3rd party) to support AOS health, on time delivery and inventory targets.
• 3rd Party Supplier Management: quarterly lead time review, supplier OTD and supplier follow up on open POs.
• Partner with distribution centers (DC) for inbound error resolution.
• Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of product to DC.
• Update standard work.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• SAP Skills (MM Module) preferred.
• Commercial acumen combined with a strong desire to provide customer satisfaction.
• Supplier management experience and supply chain experience.
• Positive mindset & actively encourages other team members.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Advanced Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Excel, SQL, or Python, to analyze supply chain data and make informed decisions
• Project Management: Experience in managing supply chain projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, to ensure timely and efficient delivery
• Forecasting and Planning: Expertise in demand forecasting and inventory planning to maintain optimal stock levels and meet customer demand.
