Job Summary

The Executive - Data & Analytics is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive informed business decisions and optimize performance. Working within the Data Science and Business Intelligence department, this role involves extracting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing large datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities. The Executive will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their analytical needs, translate complex questions into data solutions, and present findings in a clear and compelling manner, ultimately contributing to data-driven growth and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Extract, clean, and transform data from various internal and external sources using SQL and other data manipulation tools. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness for analysis. Assist in maintaining data pipelines and data quality processes.

  • Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis of business data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Conduct root cause analysis for performance deviations and business challenges. Translate complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and actionable business recommendations.

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using leading Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense). Ensure reports are user-friendly, visually appealing, and effectively communicate key insights to diverse audiences.

  • Collaborate with business units (e.g., Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance) to understand their data needs and reporting requirements. Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to non-technical business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Proven experience in Business Intelligence development or data analysis.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

  • Hands-on experience with at least one major BI visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense/View).

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong command of SQL for complex queries and data extraction. Expertise in using BI tools to create impactful visualizations and reports.

  • Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills. Ability to identify patterns, draw conclusions, and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts and data insights into clear, compelling narratives for business users.

  • Meticulous in data handling, analysis, and report generation to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, build rapport, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
