About the role

We are seeking a talented Accounts Officer to join our dynamic team at Aik Bee Construction Sdn Bhd in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. As an Accounts Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the company's financial records and ensuring efficient accounting operations. Key responsibilities

  1. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
  2. Processing invoices, managing payments, and reconciling bank statements
  3. Preparing monthly financial reports and statements for management review
  4. Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  5. Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders, such as suppliers and clients
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  7. Providing administrative support to the finance team as required

What we're looking for

  1. Diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounts officer or similar role, preferably in the construction industry
  3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  4. Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications (e.g. Microsoft Excel)
  5. Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
