We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Rasa-Rasa Maghrebi. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our chefs and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment to ensure a clean working environment.
  • Store food supplies properly and monitor inventory levels.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist in plating and garnishing dishes as per chef's instructions.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain overall kitchen tidiness.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head Chef or management.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a kitchen environment is an advantage but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
  • Physical stamina to handle standing for long hours and performing kitchen tasks.
