Role Summary

The Store-in-Charge (Supervisor or Assistant Manager) main role is to ensure smooth daily operations, delivering elevated client experience, driving sales, people development, and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Boutique Operations

  • Ensure daily opening & closing procedures are executed flawlessly.
  • Maintain stock accuracy, handle transfers, and replenishment.
  • Ensure visual merchandising complies with brand global standards.
  • Monitor boutique housekeeping, BOH organisation, and product care.

2. Client Experience & Service Excellence

  • Lead by example in providing joyful, energetic, and polished client experience.
  • Handle client escalations and ensure quick, effective resolution.
  • Empower the team to personalize the shopping experience (clienteling, styling suggestions, follow-ups).
  • Uphold personalized service etiquette while maintaining the brand's approachable charm.

3. Sales Performance

  • Motivate the team to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
  • Track individual and store performance; provide on-floor coaching and feedback.
  • Support Area Manager in analysing sales trends and identifying opportunities.
  • Drive cross-selling, upselling, and client conversion.

4. People Leadership

  • Provide guidance to Sales Associates and promote a positive, inclusive store culture.
  • Train new hires on brand service expectations, SOPs, and product knowledge.
  • Allocate daily manpower, manage breaks, and ensure floor coverage.
  • Support Area Manager in performance feedback and development conversations.

5. Compliance & Administration

  • Handle cash management, refunds, exchanges, and POS accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs, audit requirements, and loss-prevention standards.
  • Maintain schedules, attendance records, and operational reports.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 - 6 years retail experience in fashion, lifestyle, or luxury brands.
  • Prior supervisory or team-lead exposure preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and polished disposition.
  • Confident, adaptable, and able to make decisions independently.
  • Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering exceptional customer experience.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
