Infrastructure Administration & Support

·       Provide end-to-end technical support, installation, and administration of Proxmox environments.

·       Manage and maintain project Linux systems (Ubuntu), for project environments.

·       Deliver Alibaba Cloud support and administration, with preference for certified professionals. (ACP/ACE)

·       Administer and optimize Kubernetes environments, including on-premises setup.

·       Design and maintain secure, reliable network infrastructure.

·       Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.

DevOps Configuration & Automation

·       Configure and support core DevOps components (e.g., CI/CD, Ansible, monitoring, orchestration tools).

·       Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines across on-prem and cloud environments.

·       Execute migration tasks in line with architecture plans and strategic goals.

Project and Internal System Architecture Design

·       Participate in planning and designing system architecture to support new and ongoing projects.

·       Develop internal system architecture frameworks and ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

·       Provide technical input on system integration and solution design.

Server Administration

·       Install, configure, and manage servers (physical and virtual).

·       Monitor server performance, capacity, and availability.

·       Apply system updates, patches, and security configurations.

System Backup, Recovery, and Restore

·       Implement and maintain system backup policies.

·       Perform scheduled backups and verify data integrity.

·       Manage disaster recovery planning and execute restore procedures when required.

Team Leadership & Performance Management

·       Lead and mentor Junior Engineers.

·       Define and track KPI metrics to assess team performance.

·       Navigate and address complex interpersonal dynamics by managing individuals with challenging behaviours in a constructive and solution-oriented manner.

Documentation & Compliance

·       Maintain accurate infrastructure inventories and technical documentation.

·       Ensure systems and operations meet compliance and security standards.
