About the role

As the Scaffolding Material Coordinator at DURAGATE ENGINEERING & SERVICES SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in managing the supply and distribution of scaffolding materials for construction projects in Bintulu, Sarawak. What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinate the procurement, inventory, and distribution of scaffolding materials to ensure project sites are adequately supplied
  2. Liaise with suppliers, logistics providers, and project teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of materials
  3. Maintain accurate records of material usage, stock levels, and related documentation
  4. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in the supply chain to minimise project delays
  5. Assist in the planning and scheduling of material deliveries to optimise efficiency
  6. Provide regular reports and updates to management on the status of material operations

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a materials handling or logistics role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
  2. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting
  5. A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues
  6. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed
