Job Summary

The Senior Account Executive will be responsible for managing the full set of accounts for IMAS KL, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role involves overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The ideal candidate is experienced, detail-oriented, and proficient in AutoCount.

Job Responsibility:

1. Full Set of Accounts

  • Maintain and manage a full set of accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities.
  • Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure financial records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with relevant accounting standards.

2. Accounts Payable (AP)

  • Process vendor invoices, staff claims, and payments accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor outstanding payables and ensure timely settlement.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.

3. Accounts Receivable (AR)

  • Prepare invoices and ensure timely billing to customers.
  • Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records.

4. General Ledger & Reconciliation

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and GL reconciliation.
  • Ensure proper journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.

5. System & Reporting

  • Use AutoCount for daily accounting operations, reporting, and data management.
  • Generate necessary reports for management review.
  • Support external audits, tax submissions, and statutory reporting.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in handling full sets of accounts.
  • Proficient in AutoCount and MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
