Job Function /Responsibilities :

This position will assist the Company's ESG Team with the following tasks, which include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure data hygiene and accuracy on data submitted by entities.
  • Consolidate and summarize data by entities and identify gaps for improvement.
  • Participate in ESG Monthly meetings and quarterly decarbonization meetings.
  • Idea generation for ESG engagements and awareness (posters, slides, newsletters).
  • Research and benchmarking on other companies' sustainability reports on ways to improve KGL sustainability report.

Job Specification / Requirements :

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or other Science Admin related discipline.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken) and decent presentation skill.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Words, Excel, Power Point).
  • Analytical, systematic, meticulous, research oriented and able to meet strict dateline.
  • Able to communicate with multiple stakeholders and able to lead project.
  • Passion in ESG and sustainability, specifically in environmental and social aspects.

Internship period : Starts from 5th January 2026

Job Type: Internship

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From RM800.00 per month
