Job Description :

You will be responsible for the company's comprehensive financial management, ensuring accurate accounting, compliance, and efficient handling of tax, audit, and statutory reporting matters.

Key Responsibilities :
  1. Daily Financial Management: Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, cost accounting, accounts receivable/payable, and financial statement preparation.
  2. Tax Compliance & Planning:
  3. Accurately calculate and timely file various taxes (e.g., corporate income tax, Sales and Service Tax SST).
  4. Be familiar with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) procedures and handle annual tax filings.
  5. Stay updated on Malaysian tax and audit regulations (e.g., the new audit exemption rules for SMEs effective 2025) and ensure compliance.
  6. Audit & Statutory Compliance:
  7. Understand the requirements of the Malaysian Companies Act 2016 and SSM's annual return filings.
  8. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare regular management reports and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
  9. Internal Controls: Establish and improve financial internal control procedures to ensure fund safety and operational compliance.
Requirements :
  • Education & Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Must have relevant work experience in Malaysian finance, with a solid understanding of local tax and audit regulations.
  • Hands-on experience in handling SSM annual returns, IRBM tax filings, and audit matters (or audit exemption processes).
  • Knowledge of the new audit exemption policy effective 2025 and its compliance requirements.
  • Experience in manufacturing, services, or trading industries is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Malaysian corporate income tax, SST, and other tax calculations and filings.
  • Understanding of Malaysian annual compliance, audit rules, and the latest audit exemption framework.
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Fluent in Mandarin. Proficiency in English and Malay (written and spoken) is required for documentation and communication.
  • Personal Attributes: Integrity, responsibility, attention to detail, strong communication skills, ability to work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
