We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance Executive to support the preparation of a full set of financial reports and related schedules. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing documentation related to invoicing, payments, and adherence to finance policies and procedures. This role also involves handling monthly management account schedules, bank reconciliations, and other finance-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in handling and monitoring company accounts, including Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliation, month-end closing, and statutory reporting.
  • Prepare monthly consolidation of accounts and statement of cash flow.
  • Ensure all monthly closing deadlines are met; prepare balance sheet schedules and journal entries.
  • Assist in verifying and ensuring profit margins for all sales categories are accurate.
  • Prepare monthly management presentations.
  • Assist in cash flow monitoring, forecasting, and payment processes.
  • Perform bi-monthly SST submissions to Kastam.
  • Liaise with billing and sales departments to address inquiries.
  • Handle information requests from tax agents and auditors to meet statutory requirements.
  • Assist in the yearly audit, including preparation of financial statements and corporate tax submissions.
  • Support preparation of cash flow projections and other reports for management review.
  • Prepare and present consolidated financial statements to the group.
  • Perform other administrative duties and ad-hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Minimum Degree in Accounting or a relevant professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MACPA/MIA).
  • Audit experience from accounting firms is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., Autocount) is an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, with the ability to read and develop complex spreadsheets.
  • Strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency.
  • Possess an inquisitive mind, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and logical thinking ability.
  • Independent, proactive, self-motivated, with effective communication skills and high commitment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3, RM3,600.00 per month
