About the role

The Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager is a crucial role at the SWAN GARDEN RESORT HOTEL (MELAKA), responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel's food and beverage operations. This full-time position is based in Melaka Tengah, Melaka, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of this hospitality business.

What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance the hotel's F&B offerings and overall guest experience
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the hotel's restaurants, bars, and catering services
  • Overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of the F&B team
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Monitoring and analysing F&B financial performance, and implementing cost-effective measures
  • Collaborating with the hotel's marketing and sales teams to develop promotional strategies
  • Fostering positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and key industry stakeholders

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar F&B management role within the hospitality industry
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing F&B operations
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Thorough knowledge of food and beverage trends, as well as industry regulations and best practices
  • Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field
