Job Description

1. Financial Reporting

  • Lead the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable financial reporting standards (e.g., IFRS/MFRS) and internal accounting policies.
  • Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliation processes.

2. Management Reporting & Financial Planning

  • Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, financial forecasts, and performance dashboards.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and manage the company's financial performance, KPIs, and budget variances.

3. Statutory & Tax Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with local statutory and tax regulations.
  • Manage timely completion of statutory filings, tax submissions, and regulatory reporting.
  • Coordinate with local finance teams, tax agents, external auditors and legal advisors to address compliance risks and resolve issues.

4. Governance, Risk Management & Internal Controls

  • Develop, implement and maintain effective financial controls and policies.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate governance standards and local regulatory requirements.

5. Team Leadership & Coordination

  • Lead and develop the finance function, fostering a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote collaboration and effective communication across departments to ensure operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance and/or with a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA).
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry with external audit background.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/MFRS, tax regulations, statutory reporting, and internal controls.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems.
