What you'll be doing?
  • System Administration: Create and maintain fee codes, ensure accurate rebate/discount adjustments, and liaise with various departments on fee structures and billing.
  • Financial Oversight: Verify daily cash collections, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain financial integrity across the institution.
  • Credit Control: Monitor student fee defaults, review monthly aging reports, and collaborate with the Study Loan Unit to manage payment statuses.
  • Student Engagement: Conduct briefings for new students on payment schemes, providing clear financial guidance to support their academic journey.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational Background: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in financial principles.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of related working experience, bringing valuable insights to the role. However, candidates with less experience but strong potential are also encouraged to apply.
  • Financial Expertise: Strong financial management abilities and good knowledge of accounting and budget management, enabling you to excel in this multifaceted role.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct financial analysis and costing, contributing to informed decision-making processes.
  • Time Management: Excellent prioritization skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively in a fast-paced academic environment.
  • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of financial software for quantifying and illustrating financial reports, enhancing the institution's financial transparency.
