Randstad has recently partnered with one of Malaysia-based fintech company that specialises in digital lending and financial technology solutions. They are looking to hire a Pre Sales Consultant to join their team.

about the job

  • Lead technical and business discovery sessions with prospective clients to fully understand their pain points, business requirements, and technology landscape.
  • Design and propose technical solutions that directly address the client's specific needs and integrate seamlessly with their environment.
  • Plan, execute, and document Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot projects, demonstrating the tangible business value and feasibility of our solutions.
  • Act as the technical lead in preparing and writing responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and security questionnaires, ensuring all technical and functional components are accurate and persuasive.
  • Collaborate closely with the Account Managers and Sales team to develop winning sales strategies.
  • Maintain a deep and up-to-date understanding of the fintech, digital lending, and open banking landscape, including competitor offerings and emerging technologies.

about the requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Solutions Consultant, or Technical Consulting role, preferably within the Fintech, Banking, or Enterprise Software (SaaS) industry.
  • Solid functional and technical understanding of the Loan Origination Process and/or other critical banking systems (e.g., Core Banking, Risk Management).
  • Ability to understand and clearly articulate complex technical concepts-such as APIs, system integration, data analytics, and cloud environments-to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience working with digital lending platforms or related financial technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative approach.
