Production and process engineer

Job scope

1.     Oversees and assesses existing processes and workflows.

2.     Optimizes productivity by redesigning, implementing, and testing new procedures.

3.     Monthly reports.

4.     Provides thorough instructions and follow up for successful implementation of process changes.

5.     Assesses compliance with applicable products, safety and quality standards.

6.     Drafting process ideas to reduce costs and improve production rates – Kaizen.

7.     Developing routines and best practices to ensure product quality and standardized operating instructions for the upgrades process..

8.     Support technically to manufacture by coordinating engineering modifications.

9.     Attain targets for process productivity, manufacturing days, process yield and entire manufacturing expenses.

10.  Assist maintenance team for maintenance and repair.

Qualification

1.     Diploma & above, Mechanical Engineering major is preferred

2.     Above 2-3 years relevant working experience.

3.     Knowledge of plastic processes is advantage

4.     Analysis and communication skill

5.     Good command of written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia, and English

6.     Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word and Excel).

7.     Ability to work well in team based environment

8.     Adapt to work under pressure

9.     Able to work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility.

10.  Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply – this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience.

11.  Training will be provided for candidates without experience and willing to learn.
