Role Description

We are looking for candidates for three roles; two based in Kuala Lumpur and one based in Jakarta. These are full-time, on-site roles for a Project Engineer / Technical Sales Engineer. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering technical sales and support, preparing proposals, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating client needs, identifying technical solutions, collaborating with internal teams, and building relationships with key stakeholders. The roles also involves presenting technical solutions, managing project execution, and contributing to business development efforts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between Aroona's principals and regional clients.
  • Support business development efforts by presenting technical solutions and capabilities to operators and service companies.
  • Coordinate project planning, execution, and post-job reviews for well integrity, intervention, and completion technologies.
  • Provide technical input during tendering, proposal development, and client meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, client specifications, and principal standards.
  • Facilitate training, product demonstrations, and field support when required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the region.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in well engineering, completions, or intervention services.
  • Familiarity with Southeast Asia's upstream O&G landscape and regulatory environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage technical and commercial audiences.
  • Experience working with or representing international technology providers is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel across the region for client engagements and field support.
