On-Site Responsibilities (Field Role – Full-Time Presence)

  1. Be stationed full-time at site to oversee daily EPC activities, ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

  2. Conduct routine site inspections and audits jointly with other IOWs and Owner's representatives.

  3. Witness site testing, factory acceptance tests, and commissioning works as required.

  4. Monitor site progress, workmanship quality, and adherence to project schedules.

  5. Liaise directly with the EPC site team, subcontractors, and authority representatives.

  6. Identify potential risks, technical issues, and interface conflicts early and recommend mitigation actions.

  7. Supervise completion of interconnection facilities, communication systems, and all balance-of-plant works.

  8. Review and endorse site work progress valuations and test certifications.

  9. Coordinate the handover of facilities, including final inspections and issuance of completion certificates.

  10. Oversee and manage rectification and warranty-related works during the Defects Liability Period (DLP).

Reporting & Coordination


• Reports directly to the Owner's Project Director / Engineering Manager.


• Works collaboratively with other on-site IOWs, utility representatives, and EPC personnel.


• Maintains daily logs, inspection reports, and meeting records for Owner's review.


• Upholds confidentiality and professional standards in line with national engineering regulations and codes of conduct.
