About the role

We are seeking a talent to Southern Rubber Works Sdn Bhd in Penang, as Counter Leader.

As a Counter Leader, you shall be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our retail sales counters, ensuring exceptional customer service and driving sales. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to play a key role in the success of our company.

Your job scope includes:

1. Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of our retail sales counters.
2. Oversee the performance of counter staff, providing training, coaching and support to ensure high levels of customer service.
3. Monitor sales targets and KPIs, implementing strategies to drive sales and meet performance goals.
4. Maintain inventory levels and stock management, ensuring optimal product availability.
5. Liaise with the marketing and merchandising teams to implement promotional activities and enhance the customer experience.
6. Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
7. Foster a positive and productive work environment for the counter team

The candidate must have:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar counter management or retail leadership role.
2. Strong customer service orientation and excellent communication skills.
3. Demonstrate ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on developing and supporting staff.
4. Proficient in inventory management and sales data analysis.
5. Familiar with retail merchandising and promotional strategies.
6. Problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
7. Knowledge of the retail and consumer products industry would be an advantage.
