About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven E-commerce and Social Media Executive for Molton Brown to support the growth and optimization of our online retail business and digital presence across multiple platforms. This role will combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, focusing on driving traffic, enhancing customer engagement, and ensuring seamless cross-functional collaboration between e-commerce, marketing, and operations teams.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
Website Development & Management:
•Website Creation & Design: Collaborate with Principal and digital team to build, design, and maintain the e-commerce website. Ensure the site is visually appealing, user-friendly, and optimized for mobile devices.
•Site Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the website for better performance, page load speed, and SEO, ensuring a seamless customer experience from landing page to checkout.
•Content Management: Manage the website content, including product listings, images, pricing, and promotional banners. Ensure all content is up-to-date and aligned with marketing initiatives.
•Product Catalog Management: Ensure the online catalogue is accurately displayed, reflecting the latest product offerings, stock availability, and special promotions. Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure consistency.
•Platform Management: Oversee the integration of third-party tools, payment gateways, and other e-commerce functionalities to enhance the website's capabilities and performance.
E-commerce Strategy & Execution:
•Sales & Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse e-commerce performance metrics (conversion rates, traffic etc.), providing actionable insights to optimize the sales funnel and improve overall site performance.
•Promotions & Campaigns: Work with marketing and product teams to plan and execute promotions, seasonal sales, and product launches directly on the website and across other digital channels.
•Customer Experience: Collaborate with customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and address any customer issues related to the website, ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
•SEO & SEM: Ensure that the website is optimized for search engines and aligned with SEO best practices to improve organic search rankings. Implement paid search campaigns to increase visibility and drive targeted traffic.
Social Media Strategy & Execution:
•Content Creation & Curation: Develop engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), promoting new products, sales, and brand stories. This includes writing copy, producing visuals, and scheduling posts.
•Social Media Campaigns: Manage organic and paid social media campaigns to drive traffic to the e-commerce website, leveraging various channels to amplify reach and engagement.
•Community Engagement: Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, comments, and messages across social media platforms to foster relationships and strengthen the brand community.
•Influencer Marketing: Identify potential influencers and brand ambassadors to drive awareness and traffic to the e-commerce site. Manage influencer partnerships and collaborations.
•Analytics & Reporting: Track the performance of social media campaigns, using insights to optimize strategies, improve ROI, and maximize audience engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
•Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, creative, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment on e-commerce and social media strategies. Regularly communicate with these teams to ensure seamless project execution.
•Brand Consistency: Ensure that the website design and all social media content align with the brand's voice, tone, and visual identity.
•Campaign Coordination: Assist in the coordination and execution of cross-channel campaigns and events, ensuring integration of e-commerce, social media and offline store efforts to maximize customer reach and conversion.
•Identify new opportunities for driving online sales through website improvements, UX/UI enhancements, or digital marketing strategies.
Key Requirements
•Minimum 3-5 years of management experience in luxury goods or a comparable retail environment.
•Minimum a Diploma/Degree in business management, retail management, or any discipline.
•Good interpersonal skills, Pleasant Personality, Excellent communicator, Proficient in computer.
•Fluent English and both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other language is added advantage.
