Quality Control Inspector

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Control Executive to join our team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all products meet quality standards and specifications through rigorous inspection and testing.

This position requires close collaboration with internal teams and external testing laboratories to maintain high-quality output and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement QC sampling plans to ensure samples are randomly selected and represent the quality of the entire batch for accurate quality checking.
• Conduct inspections on, in-process production, and finished goods testing.
• Monitor temperature controls, sanitation, and hygiene compliance throughout the production process.
• Verify proper labeling, product weight, sealing, and packaging according to specifications.
• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting or returning unacceptable materials.
• Approve in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to technicians.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
• Document inspection results by completing reports and submitting them to the superior.
• Document non-conformities, initiate corrective actions, and ensure timely follow-up.
• Advise on the release, hold, or rejection of delivered goods, work-in-progress (WIP) products, and finished goods based on quality assessments.
• Implement and maintain HACCP, HALAL, GMP, and other food safety standards.
• Support audits by providing data (internal, HALAL, ISO22000, HACCP etc.) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in trend analysis and quality monitoring initiatives to identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare, review, and maintain QA/QC reports, highlighting any defects or inconsistencies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures in compliance with legal regulations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
• Perform any other duties as and when required by the Management.

Ideal Candidate:

- Graduate of Food Science, Food Technology or any relevant studies.

- Understand the Implementation of Food Safety Standards.

- Healthy and able to stand and move around

- Able to work OT if needed.

- Able to Speak and understand English and Malay

- Able to use computer and knowledge of basic Excel and word.

- able to do daily reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,100.00 per month
