About the role

As an Accountant at BNG MARKETING ENTERPRISE SDN BHD you will be responsible for managing the company's financial records and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of all accounting activities. This is a full-time position based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve the company's financial performance
  • Provide financial analysis and advice to management to support decision-making
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required
  • Supervise and train junior accounting staff
  • Monitor and manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records
  • Perform any other ad-hock duties as assigned by the management

What we're looking for

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  • MIA member
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar accounting and audit role
  • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A team player with the ability to work independently
