Area Sales Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive business growth and lead a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of customer needs and be able to develop customized solutions to meet them. This role involves reviewing business performance, tracking sales activities, analyzing reports to identify challenges and opportunities, and proactively expanding the business within the assigned territory. The Area Sales Manager will collaborate closely with sales representatives and executives to assess risks, create strategic customer plans, meet sales and profitability targets, and provide regular updates to senior management. Additionally, the role includes leading team development through goal-setting, coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements and design tailored business solutions.
- Conduct regular business reviews and follow up on sales activities, product launches, and customer service issues.
- Analyze sales reports to identify challenges and discover new business opportunities.
- Actively pursue new business growth within the assigned area.
- Meet or exceed sales, volume, and profitability targets.
- Work with sales representatives and executives to assess risks and develop strategic customer plans.
- Lead and support the sales team through goal setting, coaching, performance feedback, and evaluations.
- Provide consistent updates and performance analysis to senior management and the sales team.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Proven ability to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and grow business within assigned territories.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Expertise in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Experience in coaching, mentoring, and evaluating team members to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting, presentations, and updates to management.
- Strong commitment to achieving sales, volume, and profitability targets.
Additional Information:
- Working Days & Hours: 6 days/week, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, with 1.5-hour lunch break
- Languages: Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Melayu
- Salary: RM5,000 – RM7,000
- Annual Leave: 14 days
- Public Holidays: 13 days (replacement holiday provided if working on a public holiday)
- Additional Benefits: Mileage and phone claims
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM5, RM7,000.00 per month
