For this role, we are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable oil and gas company operating in Malaysia. As part of the team, Helpers play a vital role in supporting fabrication and construction operations by ensuring safe, clean, and efficient work environments. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates to gain experience in the oil & gas fabrication industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist tradesmen, supervisors, and foremen with daily tasks on-site.
  • Fetch, carry, and organize tools, equipment, and materials as required.
  • Support logistics activities such as loading/unloading and moving items to designated work areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the worksite through proper housekeeping practices.
  • Follow instructions and align with the team to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Report directly to the assigned supervisor or foreman regarding tasks and progress.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a fabrication, construction, or industrial environment.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to support multiple trades as needed.

Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)

  • Familiarity with basic tools and equipment used in fabrication or construction.
